This trophy was donated to the Society by two former members

It is a wonderful way of getting to know fellow Members better and to visit some new golf courses

The purpose of the tournament is for Members to compete for a knockout trophy played for over the whole season

We make a draw in April and we leave it to the members to arrange to play the match within agreed time periods

The closing date for entries will be 30 April 2025

The convention is for the first player drawn out of the hat to be the "home" player  

If that player has a home course then they will entertain their opponent at that course

If not, the game switches to the course for the other player, or is arranged by the home player for another course convenient to both players

The Playing Handicaps will be 100% of the Course Handicap for the course being played

Strokes will be conceded by reference to the difference with the lowest handicap player
